Stablecoins are a category of cryptocurrencies designed to maintain a fixed value against a reference currency, most commonly the U.S. dollar. Transferring stablecoins across countries differs significantly from traditional bank transfers. The process involves three steps: the sender converts their local currency into a stablecoin, sends it to the recipient’s blockchain address via a blockchain network, and the recipient receives it. This method enables the movement of digital dollars across borders in a decentralized manner.
