Digital Currency Group (DCG), a major cryptocurrency investment firm, has endorsed the Clarity Act, stating the bill provides the regulatory certainty the industry needs to grow responsibly. DCG warns that talent, capital, and innovative companies are increasingly looking to countries like Singapore and the United Arab Emirates, as the United States cedes ground at an alarming pace. Republicans passed the bill in 2025 but it has stalled this year, partly due to banking executives’ concerns over stablecoin yield. Senator Elizabeth Warren and other Democrats oppose the current draft, claiming it would benefit President Donald Trump and criminals, while major institutions including Fidelity and Goldman Sachs support the current version.
