The agreement, formalized through a memorandum of understanding signed on July 9, 2025, integrates Crypto.com Pay as a payment method for flights and travel services, with potential support for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). Crypto.com secured a central bank license in the UAE in May 2026, making this integration possible in a jurisdiction that takes financial licensing seriously. As of July 2026, the technical integration process is still ongoing and no official launch date has been confirmed by either party.
