Altcoins joined the bearish move, with ethereum dropping below $1,900 and HYPE crashing by 8% to $55. The total cryptocurrency market capitalization shed $80 billion in a single day, declining from $2.330 trillion to $2.250 trillion. Approximately $700 million in positions were liquidated during this correction. Bitcoin’s dominance over altcoins remains below 57%.
