Leeds United is close to completing a 40 million pound transfer for English goalkeeper James Trafford from Manchester City. Personal terms have been agreed and the player has given his approval, with the fee including performance-based add-ons. Aged 22, Trafford is an England international who joined Manchester City’s academy in 2015 before being loaned to Accrington Stanley and Bolton Wanderers, then moving permanently to Burnley in 2023. This would be Leeds United’s third signing this summer, after Tarik Muharemovic and Harry Wilson.
