XRP whales accumulated 2.8% more tokens over five weeks while small wallets sold 5.2% of their positions. This behavioral divergence coincided with XRP price rising from $1 at the end of June to a peak of $1.16 in mid-July, before stabilizing around $1.11 to $1.12. According to on-chain analytics firm Santiment, wallets holding between 100,000 and 100 million XRP strengthened their positions while micro-wallets sold off. This pattern, big hands buying and small hands capitulating, has historically served as a leading indicator for continued upward movement, a behavior also observed on Bitcoin and Ethereum during phases transitioning between correction and recovery.
