Share

Bitcoin recovered above $65,000 on Monday morning, trading around $65,300, up approximately 1 % on the day, supported by easing geopolitical tensions between the United States and Iran. Brent crude fell more than 4 % after the suspension of US strikes in Iran, easing concerns about an energy-driven inflationary shock. S&P 500 futures rose about 0.7 % and Nasdaq 100 futures gained more than 1 %, ahead of a busy week of earnings and the Federal Reserve meeting on July 28-29. Ethereum outperformed with a gain close to 2 % toward $1,945, fueling hopes of a rotation into altcoins. The crypto market however remains cautious, with bitcoin stuck in a consolidation range between $60,000 and $66,000 as investors await the Fed’s monetary policy decisions.
