The Pi App Studio also received backend upgrades with persistent storage and improved infrastructure for more sophisticated applications. The SLICE Testnet token was distributed to nearly 480,000 participants for Pi Launchpad testing. Despite these advancements, the native PI token experienced its worst period, hitting an all-time low of approximately $0.07 on July 14 and down over 97% from its peak at $2.99, currently struggling to stay above $0.08.
