An Argentine federal judge, Marcelo Martínez de Giorgi, ordered the identification and freezing of 25 cryptocurrency wallets linked to the LIBRA memecoin case, targeting accounts on exchanges including Binance, Bybit, OKX and Bitfinex. The investigation traced crypto movements starting in May 2026, with a mass exit of 498,539 USDT on May 10 through the Tron network. Crypto analyst Fernando Molina estimated that about $8.2 million had been idle before moving through the targeted wallets. The LIBRA token collapsed in early 2025 minutes after Argentine President Javier Milei promoted it.
