81% of corporates commit budget to digital asset infrastructure in 2026

According to a Fireblocks survey published in the ‘The Financial Grid’ report, 81% of corporates have earmarked budget for digital asset infrastructure in 2026, with 88% of all institutions planning to commit funds this year. Only 16% of surveyed institutions have actually achieved live production status, despite 53% allocating at least $1 million annually. The main barriers are not regulatory — 96% of respondents expect favorable outcomes from evolving frameworks like MiCA — but internal challenges including skills gaps and system integration. About 11% of corporates have already launched initiatives involving tokenized instruments.
