1inch, a DEX aggregator, has decided to shut down its prepaid Mastercard card service. Users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have until December 18, 2026, to spend or withdraw remaining balances. New registrations have already stopped. Funds loaded onto the card are controlled by Monavate, the licensed electronic money institution, and not by 1inch itself. Partners Baanx and Crypto Life handle KYC checks and account closures. Users have up to six years to redeem funds after account closure, regardless of the exact service shutdown date. This decision does not affect 1inch’s core DEX aggregation business, which remains untouched.
