Onchain investigator ZachXBT identified Tiffany Milanovich, a US-based threat actor tied to at least $5 million in crypto thefts through fake support calls. In June 2026, a victim lost $1.2 million in BTC and ETH after the group drained the victim’s Trezor wallet, with the attack beginning through a spoofed BitcoinIRA email. In October 2025, another victim lost $500,000 in Bitcoin after the group drained a Coinbase account. Milanovich openly spent the stolen funds on luxury purchases and casino gambling, displaying them on social media. FBI data recorded more than 80,000 tech-support and government-impersonation complaints in 2025, with losses exceeding $2.9 billion.
