Versant raises 2026 outlook on strength of platforms segment and advertising momentum

Versant Media Group raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $6.2 billion to $6.45 billion and adjusted EBITDA to $1.9 billion to $2.05 billion. The company, reporting its third earnings since spinning off from NBCUniversal at the start of 2026, beat Wall Street expectations in the second quarter with EPS of $1.49 on revenue of $1.64 billion. Linear TV revenue fell 6.3% to $954 million due to subscriber declines, while the platforms segment including Fandango and GolfNow rose 0.8% to $225 million. Advertising revenue declined 0.6% to $423 million, an improvement from the prior year rate of decline, and net income dropped 30% to $211 million.
