Semiconductor ETFs absorbed roughly $24.7 billion in net inflows in under a month, even as the funds fell between 15% and 51%. The four major funds involved are the Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) with $8.8 billion, the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) with $8.5 billion, the Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X ETF (SOXL) with $5.1 billion, and the VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH) with $2.3 billion. Full-year 2026 inflows have now reached approximately $46 billion, more than double the cumulative inflows recorded across the entire 2017 to 2025 period. Investors were buying more as prices dropped: SOXX fell 18% yet attracted $7.2 billion, DRAM dropped 30.8% while receiving $10.7 billion, and SOXL plunged 51% while collecting $2.6 billion.
