Uniswap RFC Explores Private Swap Execution Using v4 Hooks And UniswapX

Share

Uniswap governance is reviewing a proposal to add an optional private execution path for swaps on its interface, using v4 hooks and UniswapX. Submitted by SilentSwap under the name « Swap Privately », the feature would use zk-SNARKs and pre-execution compliance screening to reduce transaction information exposure before execution. The core issue is on-chain swap transparency, which allows bots to detect user intent and practice front-running or sandwich attacks. Standard swaps and pool fees would remain unaffected. This proposal is still at the discussion stage and is not an approved or live product.
