Ukraine has been using British-supplied attack drones to strike military and industrial targets inside Russian territory. This campaign, underway for six months, targeted oil refineries, military bases, and logistics hubs deep inside Russia. Among the systems identified is the BAE Systems Nyan One Way Effector precision strike drone, with a 2.9-meter wingspan designed to operate in contested environments. The British government also announced in July 2026 the Stone Cloak radar jammer to improve the effectiveness of Ukrainian strike operations against Russian air defenses. Neither London nor Kyiv has officially confirmed the use of these systems against Russian targets, maintaining deliberate strategic ambiguity.
