TRON activates Ethereum-compatible upgrade with passkey support

TRON activated Proposal 107 on August 28 after receiving 25 approvals. This upgrade brings Ethereum Prague and Osaka features to the TRON Virtual Machine, reducing barriers for developers looking to port Ethereum applications. It also introduces passkey support, allowing users to sign in using fingerprints, facial recognition, or PIN codes instead of traditional passwords. The update lowers the cost of certain signature verification computations and enables applications to look further back into the blockchain to confirm earlier transactions.
