Top 10 largest stocks drop to $27.8T in combined market value

The combined market capitalization of the world’s ten largest publicly traded companies fell from $28.44 trillion to $27.8 trillion, a decline of roughly $640 billion. Nvidia leads the rankings with a valuation between $4.7 and $5.1 trillion, followed closely by Apple at $4.3 to $4.9 trillion, Alphabet at $3.9 to $4.6 trillion, Microsoft at $2.8 to $3 trillion, and Amazon at $2.6 to $2.9 trillion. As of July 1, 2026, the total US market capitalization stood at $75.3 trillion, meaning the top ten companies represent more than a third of total US market value. The total gold market valuation stands at approximately $27.8 trillion, roughly on par with the combined value of these ten giants.
