The Texas Stock Exchange officially began trading operations on July 6, backed by $250 million in funding from BlackRock, Citadel Securities, and J.P. Morgan. The Dallas-based exchange received SEC approval on September 30, 2025, clearing the way for its launch as a national securities exchange. TXSE aims to challenge NYSE and Nasdaq’s dominance by offering greater transparency, competitive pricing, and leveraging Texas’s pro-business environment. Exchange-traded product listings are planned for September 2026, with corporate primary listings expected in October 2026.
