Tether signed a memorandum of understanding with the Nairobi Securities Exchange to explore tokenized securities, blockchain-based market infrastructure and the potential use of USDT as a settlement layer. The agreement also covers digital asset education and real-world asset tokenization through Tether’s Hadron platform. The tokenized real-world assets market now represents approximately $36.8 billion in on-chain value, excluding stablecoins, according to RWA.xyz. USDT, with a market capitalization of approximately $184 billion, remains the world’s largest stablecoin.
