Target Q2 2026 earnings beat estimates, raises full-year guidance

Target reported second-quarter 2026 results beating expectations, with revenue of $26.54 billion versus the estimated $25.5 billion. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $4.11, far above the anticipated $2.30, representing a 100% year-over-year increase. Gross margin improved to 33.7%, up 470 basis points. On the back of these results, Target raised its full-year guidance, projecting EPS between $9.90 and $10.90, up from the prior range of $7.50 to $8.50, and expects net sales growth of 5% year-over-year.
