Stonepeak CEO says AI infrastructure financing shows ‘very little sign of slowing down’

Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, which manages $88 billion in assets, has deployed over $10 billion into data centers over the past decade. In July 2025, the firm made a $1.3 billion preferred equity investment in Princeton Digital Group, a data center operator with significant presence in the Asia-Pacific region. In April 2025, Stonepeak launched Montera Infrastructure, a platform designed to bolster data center capacity across North America. CEO Michael Dorrell told Bloomberg Television that banks, private equity firms, and capital markets continue to pour massive capital into the US AI build-out, showing very little sign of slowing down.
