Stoke City are set to sign U.S. men’s national team midfielder Jack McGlynn from Houston Dynamo for an initial fee of $5.5 million, potentially rising to $6 million with performance incentives. The 23-year-old, a Philadelphia Union academy product, is making his first move to European football after joining Houston in February 2025. The American club retained a sell-on clause for any future transfer. McGlynn, who earned USMNT caps and featured in the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup, must complete a medical and obtain a work visa before the transfer window closes.
