Stocks making the biggest moves midday: Caterpillar, Vertiv, SoFi Technologies, AMD & more

Shares in the AI infrastructure and semiconductor sectors retreated on Wednesday, with Vertiv falling 16% on mixed quarterly results and the VanEck Semiconductor ETF losing nearly 4% for a fifth consecutive session. Caterpillar plunged more than 7% after being downgraded by Baird Equity Research, while SoFi Technologies hit a 52-week low with a 9% drop. Conversely, Rocky Brands surged about 15% after earnings per share more than tripled, and Manhattan Associates jumped 25% after beating estimates. Mondelez also surprised to the upside, posting earnings per share of 73 cents on revenue of $9.36 billion.
