On July 29, 2010, Bitcoin’s pseudonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto posted on the Bitcointalk forum a now-famous response to skeptics: « If you don’t believe me or don’t get it, I don’t have time to try to convince you, sorry. » At the time, Bitcoin was worth approximately $0.07 and the network was supported by only a few hundred users. Sixteen years later, Bitcoin has reached an all-time high above $126,000 and remains trading near $64,300, while the overall cryptocurrency market is valued in the trillions of dollars. The digital asset is now recognized by governments and major financial institutions worldwide, including BlackRock and Morgan Stanley.
