RWA (Real World Assets) products offer yields ranging from 3.2% to 5.5%, with lower-risk Treasury products at the bottom of the range. RWA spot trading volumes rose approximately 220% year over year, while overall DEX volumes fell roughly 70%. Gold-backed tokens such as Tether Gold and Paxos Gold, along with yield-bearing dollar products like Ethena’s sUSDe, accounted for most RWA trading activity on DEXs. On the RWA-focused perpetual futures platform tradeXYZ, trading volume has increased approximately 20 times since launch. Activity has concentrated around commodities, equity indexes such as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100, and technology stocks.
