The Roundhill Memory ETF, trading under the ticker DRAM, launched on April 2 and now manages $27.44 billion in assets in under five months, with returns of approximately 161.51%. Micron Technology represents 25.42% of the fund’s total allocation, with more than a quarter of assets concentrated in a single chipmaker. The fund holds 24 names, including the three dominant players in the memory market: Micron, Samsung, and SK Hynix. The Boise, Idaho-based company is the only US-headquartered firm among the three major memory producers, giving it a strategic advantage in the current geopolitical climate. This high concentration creates significant risk: any disappointing performance from Micron would have a disproportionate impact on the fund’s overall returns.
