RippleX expects to ship xrpld 3.3.0 during the week of August 1, 2026, with five amendments up for validator consideration. Two previously halted features are being reconsidered: Batch, which contained a signature validation bug allowing unauthorized inner transactions, and Permission Delegation, which had a flaw enabling XRP reserve draining through fees charged before signature verification. No funds were lost. The critical question is whether the ecosystem will extend enough trust for these corrected versions to clear the 80% validator threshold for activation. Three additional amendments target institutional tokenization, including Confidential MPT for token balance confidentiality, Sponsored Fees and Reserves for institutional onboarding, and Dynamic MPT for post-issuance token modifications.
