Qatar has confirmed that a draft 14-point agreement aimed at restarting US-Iran negotiations is actively circulating between the two parties. The memorandum includes an immediate ceasefire, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and the potential release of 24 billion dollars in frozen Iranian assets during a proposed 60-day negotiation window focused on nuclear issues and sanctions relief. US envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff arrived in Doha around June 30 for discussions facilitated by Qatar, while President Trump has described the trajectory as a « great deal. » Approximately 344 million dollars in Iranian-linked crypto assets were frozen in 2026, and markets are already pricing in the implications of a potential US-Iran thaw, with Bitcoin oscillating between 63,600 and 65,800 dollars.
