Pi Network’s Core Team announced that protocol version 26 must be deployed by August 11, effectively confirming that version 25 was deployed before the July 22 deadline. This update represents a major milestone ahead of the final planned upgrade, v27. The native PI token, which had crashed to around $0.07 in mid-July, has rebounded and gained over 6% in 24 hours, reclaiming the $0.08 level. Eight upgrades have been completed in recent months to evolve the network.
