Pi Network’s Core Team unveiled details about its new Launchpad model, where committed Pi coins are automatically sent to a liquidity pool paired with the new ecosystem token. Over 240,000 users called Pioneers participated in the distribution of the test token SLICE, committing nearly 16 million Test-Pi to acquire 10 million SLICE tokens between June 11 and June 28. This model differs from traditional token launches by providing an active liquidity foundation from the start while tying tokens to real functions such as access, payments, and governance. The test was conducted with the third-party game Slice of Pi, enabling engagement bonuses to be tested on a functioning application.
