Partners Group faces €6B debt refinancing challenge as share price slides 24%

Partners Group, the Swiss private markets manager overseeing approximately $186 billion in assets, faces a refinancing challenge of roughly €6 billion spread across three portfolio companies. The firm imposed a 5% quarterly redemption cap on its Global Value SICAV evergreen fund after redemption requests reached 9.8% of net asset value in Q2 2026. The primary concern centers on Emeria, a property services business carrying approximately €3.5 billion in debt, for which Partners Group and co-investor TA Associates are considering a €200 million capital injection. Despite a 24% year-to-date share price decline, the group raised $16 billion in new client commitments in H1 2026, including a $1 billion private credit mandate from Danantara, Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund. Analysts will now watch whether the Emeria capital injection materializes and whether redemption requests normalize under the new cap structure.
