A 20.5 BTC stash linked to the 2026 Coldcard theft moved through 34 THORChain swaps into Ethereum on Sept. 2-3, shifting the case from largely parked funds to an active cross-chain trail. The principal Ethereum address received 20.15 BTC and held approximately 644.5 ETH at last check, with roughly 5 ETH withdrawn. At Bitcoin block 965,339, Bitquery identified 1,402.59 BTC still sitting in identified addresses, including 1,396.33 BTC that had never moved. Links between the wider theft waves and their operator remain unresolved.
