OpenSea announced the full integration of Solana NFTs on its rebuilt OS2 platform, nearly four years after an unsuccessful first attempt in April 2022. The market, currently dominated by Magic Eden and Tensor, now welcomes the world’s largest NFT marketplace supporting over 19 blockchain networks. Solana’s appeal lies in transaction speeds settling in fractions of a second and minimal fees, which particularly benefits high-frequency trading of digital assets. OpenSea also emerged from an SEC investigation without any enforcement action, removing regulatory uncertainty that had weighed on its strategic decisions. As of August 2026, Solana NFT support was not yet fully operational despite other Solana functionality already being live.
