Its software powers an estimated 25 to 30 percent of Ethereum’s node infrastructure. This partnership aims to support Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), its Data Feeds, and the broader push for institutional adoption of decentralized infrastructure. Running a Chainlink node means infrastructure that directly underpins billions of dollars in smart contract value. The addition of Nethermind adds another layer of redundancy to Chainlink’s Data Feeds, which are essential for DeFi protocols and traditional finance applications.
