Wednesday marked the 182nd consecutive session without a day where at least 80% of NYSE volume came from declining stocks, a historical record that surpasses the previous record by nearly 50 sessions. This calm coincides with a handful of AI-linked mega-caps, notably Nvidia, Micron Technology, Tesla, and Palantir, driving most of the index gains. Burry, known for predicting the 2008 housing crash, holds bearish positions on several of these companies and compares the current setup to his warnings before the 1987 crash and the dot-com bubble.
