The XRP Ledger Foundation has released version 3.3.0 of its protocol, introducing features for institutions such as Confidential Transfers allowing the hiding of balances and transaction amounts on Multi-Purpose Tokens. This update also brings the Batch, Sponsor, and Permission Delegation amendments. According to RWA.xyz, roughly $850 million out of $1.38 billion in tokenized real-world assets on the XRPL comes from Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin, leaving approximately $530 million for other players such as Ondo, Archax, Societe Generale, and VERT Capital. These amendments are not yet live as they require at least 80% support from approved validators for two consecutive weeks before activation.
