Liquid Network, a Bitcoin sidechain, has suspended its operations after purported white-hat hackers withdrew approximately 320 million dollars in bitcoin. Cryptocurrency exchanges have suspended LBTC deposits and withdrawals, the token native to Liquid Network. Blockstream, the company behind Liquid, is currently working to contact those responsible for the withdrawal. The incident has caused a temporary paralysis of the network while investigations continue.
