Injective to enable native privacy features in upcoming updates

Injective, the finance-focused layer-1 blockchain, announced on August 25 its intention to integrate native privacy features directly into its protocol. These capabilities will target institutional transactions, new token issuance, and real-world assets (RWA). No technical details or deployment timeline have been revealed at this stage. The network filed for SEC transfer-agent registration and published a MiCA compliance white paper for the European regulatory framework. In September 2026, Pineapple Financial announced the tokenization of over one billion dollars in mortgage records on the Injective network, illustrating the concrete privacy needs of institutions in the RWA sector.
