Hungary has repealed its requirement for validating crypto transactions, coinciding with CoinCash receiving Hungary’s first Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) license. CoinCash, operated by Tiwala Solutions Kft., becomes the first Hungarian firm authorized under the EU’s MiCA framework. The repeal removes a national barrier, positioning MiCA licensing as the primary regulatory standard for crypto service providers in Hungary. This regulatory shift suggests Hungary is moving toward a more favorable stance toward the crypto industry.
