The unknown exploiter behind June’s attack on the MEV bot jaredfromsubway.eth suffered a $505,000 loss on their ETH trading operations. After stealing $7.7 million and selling 2,327 ETH at around $1,695, they repurchased 2,063 ETH at an average price of $1,912, ending up with 264 ETH less for the same amount. The initial attack, which occurred on June 20-21, exploited fake liquidity pools and deceptive tokens to trap the automated sandwich bot. The MEV bot team had offered a 50% bounty and a 48-hour deadline to return the funds, with no official response from the hacker.
