Goldman Sachs is gauging investor interest in a roughly $1.15 billion junk bond to finance construction of a data center near Richmond, Virginia, leased to CoreWeave. The project is being developed by PowerHouse Data Centers and Chirisa Technology Parks with equity investments from Blue Owl Capital funds. The deal comes as investors have grown more cautious toward AI infrastructure debt following heavy issuance earlier this year. Last month, Galaxy Digital had to offer a 10% yield on a $3.5 billion debt offering backed by a CoreWeave lease to attract demand.
