Turkish club Galatasaray rejected a 130 million euro bid from Saudi club Al Hilal for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. The player was acquired from Napoli in July 2025 for a club-record 75 million euros. The Istanbul club thus secured a 73 percent return on investment in roughly 13 months while immediately turning down the offer. Osimhen’s contract, running until June 30, 2029, contains no release clause, giving Galatasaray full leverage in any negotiation. This decision reflects a strategy of building a competitive squad rather than flipping players for profit.
