U.S. equity futures ended Monday’s session little changed, with the S&P 500 posting a losing week as investors turned cautious ahead of Nvidia’s earnings due Wednesday after the closing bell. The personal consumption expenditure price index reading for July will also be released Wednesday, followed by Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh’s speech Friday at the Fed’s annual symposium in Jackson Hole. The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield fell more than 3 basis points to 4.7%, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.76% in regular trading due to declines in chip stocks and other tech names. Wells Fargo Investment Institute expects equity market volatility to accelerate this week due to overbought conditions, seasonality and midterm elections.
