Two days after a confirmed first breach exposing tax data of 678,000 individuals, the DGFiP faces a second hacking claim. Cybercriminal ZeroBytes claims to have extracted cadastral data of 2,041,778 property owners: names, dates of birth, addresses, and associated real estate. The information stolen from the cadastral data server enables dangerous cross-referencing of identity, address, and property assets, posing significant risks for phishing campaigns and identity theft. The attacker states that his extraction represents only a fraction of the 20 million people potentially accessible through this system. Investigators must determine whether these two intrusions within two days are connected and whether the access might still be active.
