Figma’s push into AI agents drives an earnings beat

Figma released quarterly results that beat expectations driven by its artificial intelligence monetization strategy. In the second quarter, the company’s revenue reached $370.1 million, up 48% year-over-year, surpassing the consensus estimate of $352 million. Adjusted earnings per share came in at 8 cents, exceeding the 4 cents projected by Wall Street analysts. This performance is attributed to increased AI credit consumption by customers on the platform.
