Fidelity received authorization to stake up to 100% of crypto assets in its FETH (Ethereum) and FSOL (Solana) funds, with staking fees set at 15% of gross rewards and 85% retained by the funds. FSOL had staked 99.64% of its assets (1,675,797 SOL out of 1,687,589 SOL) with a fair value of $126.3 million as of June 30, while FETH held 476,311 ether worth $758.609 million. Redemption delays may occur if validators cannot exit the network in time, with Fidelity considering alternatives such as cash-in-lieu delivery instead of crypto. Solana expects to regain control of staked SOL within two days under normal conditions, while Ethereum has no fixed timeline.
