Harry Yeh, founder and managing director of Quantum Fintech Group and a prominent backer of the Fantom ecosystem, died on August 7 after falling from the 30th floor of a residential tower in Asunción, Paraguay. His company managed over $2.4 billion in assets and he was involved in several DeFi projects within the Fantom ecosystem, including Tomb Finance, LIF3 and ZooCoin. Paraguayan authorities have not ruled out any possibilities, considering accident, suicide and homicide as potential causes. An autopsy and forensic examinations have been ordered as part of an ongoing investigation. No negative market impact has been observed on tokens associated with his projects in the immediate aftermath.
