Ripple has become one of the largest corporate political donors in the United States with approximately $48 million contributed during the 2026 election cycle, according to Public Citizen estimates. Most of the funding flows through Fairshake, the crypto industry’s leading super PAC network, which entered the 2026 midterms with roughly $193 million in cash, about 37% above its July 2025 level. More than 200 crypto firms, including Coinbase, Ripple and Kraken, have urged the Senate to pass the CLARITY Act, a crypto market structure bill that faces a crucial Senate window before the August recess. Crypto companies now represent approximately 37% of all corporate election spending in the United States, making the sector the largest corporate political spending category ahead of artificial intelligence and Big Tech. Ripple has committed $25 million directly to Fairshake, while the network primarily targets low-turnout primaries where modest advertising budgets can influence competitive races.
