Ineffable Intelligence, the London-based AI startup founded by ex-Google DeepMind researcher David Silver, has hired six cofounders from Google DeepMind, InstaDeep, and venture capital firm Flying Fish. In April 2026, the company was valued at $5 billion following a $1.1 billion seed round, the largest seed investment ever in Europe. Among the new hires, Junhyuk Oh, former reinforcement learning lead at DeepMind, will run reinforcement learning at Ineffable, while Wojciech Czarnecki will oversee the science team.
